Sanitary status in Mallorca (COVID-19)
How is the covid-19 situation in Mallorca?
The Balearic Islands is nearing the end of the coronavirus epidemic, according to the latest data from the National Epidemiology Network. The Government decided to start de-escalating the coronavirus restrictions since May 2nd.
Now more than ever before outdoor Yoga classes will be in high demand.
When will it be a good moment to do this training?
So far we keep the training dates defined for May 29 to 31 only for locals and residents in Mallorca. The rest of the training dates are open for everyone. We expect that from the end of June it will be possible to fly to Mallorca. And in July most of the hotels will be open again.
This training is the roadmap to your breakthrough as a Yoga teacher (in a world where almost everyone you know is trying to make it as a yoga instructor, right?). In an easy-to-follow timeline, this course will teach you everything you need to know to be an incredible and knowledgeable paddleboard Yoga teacher, even if you've never done yoga on a board before. It is time for a change!!
What happens if I book the course but I can't fly to Mallorca?
Due to the global Covid-19 situation, we offer the possibility to reschedule your training if for any reason you can't fly to Mallorca. In that case, please let us know at least 15 days in advance before the beginning of your TTC.
25-hour SUP Yoga Teacher Training Course
I am not a Yoga teacher. Can I sign up for this course?
Yes! This course is designed for both, existing yoga teachers and those who are looking to deepen their yoga practice. Upon successfully graduating from the course you will be able to teach SUP Yoga classes internationally. If you are a yoga teacher, you will be able to add this qualification to your Yoga Alliance CEU profile.
Do I need previous experience?
It is recommended to have some experience in Yoga (at least 6 months of practice). We also ask for a minimum of 3 hours in Stand Up Paddling to make sure that everyone joining the course can stand up without fear on a SUP board. You don't need to have technical skills, so being able to stand up on the paddle board is enough!
Does everyone successfully graduate?
Your participation, team work, completion of all the assignments during the course, teaching practice, and final exam are necessary to complete the training. Course certificates cannot be bought.
How long is the course?
The training runs over 2.5 days, from Friday to Sunday in a small group of maximum 8 people (please check the available dates). Depending on your availability, you can choose as well a private training in only 1 day anytime during the year. Send us a message to check our availability!
How much do I need to save my spot?
Please, first of all fill up the application form. Then we will send you the details to compete the payment of a 250 € deposit to hold your space.
Check the exchange to your local currency here: http://www.xe.com/currencyconverter
This money is non-refundable. Only in justified situations, and upon request at least 14 days prior the first day of the course, this deposit could be used in trainings that will take place in another date in the future.
Do we get any time off during the course?
Yes! During the day there is some time during breakfast and lunch time to enjoy yourself on the beach. However, the course is physically very demanding, therefore it is best not to make any other commitments.
I feel a bit nervous about attending this course. Should I still come?
Yes! This probably means you are ready to step into something new but you just need that extra bit of courage to make the next brave step. You are welcome to write to us and let us know about this and we can happily provide extra support - both before and during your time with us in the course.
Location: Mallorca, Port d'Alcudia (Spain)
Where are the trainings held?
The trainings take place in Port d'Alcudia, in the north coast of the island, in one of the most beautiful urban beaches of Mallorca. There is a perfect spot for this discipline, sheltered from the wind, and with cristal clear waters and sandy bottom.
What airport do I fly to attend the course?
Please book your tickets to Palma de Mallorca airport (airport code PMI). It is a big international airport, the 3rd biggest one in Spain in terms of number of travelers, with connections from most larger cities in Europe.
How do I get to the course venue?
The drive from the airport takes around 40 minutes (traffic depending). You can book your transfers from and to the airport in a shuttle bus for around 8 EUR each way. We will provide you with all the necessary details you may need after you sign up.
What is the weather like in Mallorca?
Mallorca experiences great Mediterranean weather with pleasant temperatures, and where clear blue skies and plenty of sunshine are almost guaranteed. During the summer months, the average temperature begins at 23-28°C in July and slowly creeps up until it reaches 27-32°C in August, making it a fantastic time of the year to get a golden tan. The cooling breeze makes the hot temperature more comfortable.

I've never travelled by myself before, will I be okay on my own?
Fear and nervousness are common feelings (along with excitement!) that people experience in preparation for a trip. The good news is that you are likely in the same boat as 90% of your travel mates — the majority of our participants are attending the course on their own. This means you'll instantly meet a great group of individuals who are just as keen to make new friends and support each other as you.
We will help you arrange the airport pick-up at the airport, taking the stress out of arriving and finding you way to our course location. Once you are here you will be immersed in a community of caring and supportive people who will walk beside you at every step of the way.
Accommodation and meals
Is the accommodation included in the price?
Unlike other schools, we do not lock you in to a costly accommodation package with your training. You can make your own plans using sites such as airbnb or booking.com.
We provide a 4* Adults only Hotel nearby our training venue, staying in a single room with breakfast and with access to the swimming pool and other services. It is located at only 5 minutes walking distance to the beach and the school!
Before deciding where to stay, keep in mind that there is a day that the training begins at dawn, because we are going to see the sun rise on the boards. It will be spectacular and we recommend you to don't miss a thing!
Is there a cafe or supermarket nearby the school?
Yes, you will have an access to plenty of cafes and restaurants at the training location. There are also supermarkets nearby.
I am vegan / gluten intolerant. Will I be okay?
Yes, of course! There are some good vegan spots nearby our school. Some of our favorite ones are: Namaste Indian Restaurant, and Mirablau.
